Dr. Charles D. Pratt, Sr., is a native of Gastonia, NC, and is married to Evangelist Evelyn Pratt and have been for the past 43 years and have been blessed with one son, Charles Jr., and one daughter, Angel Pratt Williams. The Lord has blessed us with five grand kids.
He attended public School here in Gastonia, NC, and Graduated from Ashbrook High School and he attended East Coast Bible College in Charlotte, NC and Lee Bible College in Cleveland, Tenn., and Emmanuel Baptist University in Connelly Springs, NC and Carolina University in Belmont, NC.
He holds a Bachelors in Biblical Studies and a Masters in Theology and a Doctoral in Christian Education and is the senior Pastor of the Gethsemane Baptist Church in Chester, SC., and have been for the past 26 years. He served as President and Dean of the Gethsemane Baptist Association of Christian Education for 3 years and presently a Faculty member of the National Baptist Congress of Christian Education in the Church Leadership Division and have been for the past 24 years.
Dr. Pratt has also served as the Administrating Director of the Carolina University of Theology Gastonia Campus while it was in Gastonia for five years. He also served as a Faculty member and Dean of the Biblical Studies Division at the Queen City Bible College, Charlotte, NC for 5 years.
Pastor loves doing what The Lord through the Holy Spirit has called him to do, and that is preaching and teaching the Word of God without Favoritism or Compromise of the Word of God. Preaching, Faith, Salvation, Healing, and Deliverance for the Whole Man!
Minister Evelyn H. Pratt, is a native of Gastonia, NC, and is married to Pastor Charles Pratt and have been for the past 42 years and have been blessed with one son, Charles Jr., and one daughter, Angel Pratt Williams. The Lord has blessed us with five grand kids.
She attended public School here in Gastonia, NC, and Attended Hunter Huss High School, Gastonia, NC, and Gaston College in Dallas, NC, and she attended Carolina University of Theology, when it was in Gastonia, as well as Queen City Bible College, Charlotte, NC.
She has a love for people and preaching and teaching the Word of God. She is one of the Associate Minister at GBC, and is serving as one of the Adult Sunday School Teachers, and Tuesday Night Youth Bible Study teachers, and she has served as the President of the Woman's Ministry and Conference. She has been in the Gospel Ministry for 40 years and have been ordained for over 30 years.
She is a Woman of Prayer and study of the Word and, she loved helping and blessing people in many ways and have heart for Senior Adults that help Aid from others.
